Soak the chickpeas in lukewarm water for about 8 hours.
Pour about 3 cups of water into a saucepan and put it on high heat until it boils.
Add the chickpeas and leave it on the stove until it becomes tender, about an hour.
Take the pot off the stove and add the lemon juice to it.
Season with salt, cumin, ginger, paprika, and hot sauce.
Stir the ingredients. Serve in a cup with one part chickpeas and 2 parts soup. Enjoy.
