Shish Tawook (or Shish Taouk) is a traditional Middle Eastern marinated chicken dish. Chunks of tender and juicy chicken marinated in yogurt, garlic, and spices. It is widely eaten in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt and Turkey. Learn how to make it in the oven.
Mix well the yogurt with garlic, spices, salt, ketchup, paprika and vinegar in dish.
Add the chicken, mix well, cover the dish and leave in the fridge for at least two hours.
Grease an oven dish with olive oil, add the chicken and put the dish in the oven at 390 F/200 C for 45 minutes until it is done.
Serve hot with french fries and pickles. Serve.
