Hawawshi is a traditional Egyptian dish. It is mainly made of dough or pita bread and stuffed with meat. Spicy spices can be applied to increase the sharp taste that characterizes this meal.

In a mixing bowl, mix the dry ingredients of the dough and stir well. Then add vinegar, water and oil and knead by hand until you get a soft paste.
Cover the dough and place in a warm place to ferment for half an hour.
Cut the dough in the form of a ball and leave it for 5 minutes to rest.
Mix the filling ingredients and spread each ball of dough with a rolling pin, then place a portion of the filling with a spoon and fold the dough well.
Mix the eggs and the milk. Lightly, brush each one with the mixture and then place them in a greased baking pan.
Bake in a pre-heated oven at (375 F) 180 ° C for 20 minutes until golden brown.
Serve with yogurt, pickles and lemon wedges.
