How to make Basmati Rice with Ground Beef

This ground beef and basmati rice is a quick recipe that’s full of flavor and a complete meal in one pot!

 1 tablespoon ghee
 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
 1 grated onion
 1 tablespoon minced garlic
 0.660 lbs. (300 gr) ground beef
 2 cups basmati rice soaked for half an hour
 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
 1/2 teaspoon paprika
 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
 1 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  4 cups broth

In a saucepan, over medium heat, add ghee and oil.

Add the onion and stir until it starts to brown, then add the garlic. Stir it with onions until golden brown too.

Add the meat and stir it with the rest of the ingredients until cooked.

Put the rice on the onion and the meat, and stir it over medium heat for 5 minutes.

Add the spices and stir the ingredients.

Pour the broth over the rice and cover the saucepan. Bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat to low until the water dries up and the rice is tender.

Let rest for five minutes then serve.
