Syrian Rice with peas .. Rice recipes are one of the most important and best dishes on the table, and they are loved by all adults and children. Serve the basmati rice with delicious vegetables on the Syrian way.

 Nuts: to taste (fried)
 Minced meat: to taste (sautéed with onions and spices)
 Black pepper: 10 pieces
 Bay leaves: 1 leaf
 Cinnamon: 1 stick
 Chicken broth: 2 cubes
 Onions: 1 (medium size / chopped)
 - Salt, to taste
 Cloves: 4 pieces
 Oil: 1/3 cup
 Carrots: 1 cup (cut into small pieces)
 Peas: 1 cup (frozen)
 Basmati rice: 3 cups (washed, soaked and drained)

In a saucepan, heat the oil and stir the onions until soft.


Add the carrots and stir a little.


Put the peas and mix.


Season with cloves, cinnamon and black pepper and add bay leaves.


Pour two cups of boiling water and add the two chicken cubes.


Leave the mixture on a medium heat for 5 minutes.


Add the drained rice, then season with salt.


Pour more water until it becomes 1 centimeter higher than the rice.


When the mixture boils, cover the saucepan and leave it on a very low heat until the rice grains are soft.


Pour the peas into a serving dish and spread the meat pieces on top.


Garnish with fried nuts and serve hot.
