Shish tawook is a traditional marinated chicken shish kebab of Middle Eastern cuisine. It is widely eaten in Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Palestine, and Iraq. A similar dish in Persian cuisine is the traditional jujeh kabab. It is also served in kebab houses in many cities around the world.[

 2 lbs skinless boneless chicken breast, cut into 1-1 ½ inch pieces
Marinade
 ½ cup fresh lemon juice
 5 tbsp Plain Yogurt (Greek yogurt)
 10 Cloves Garlic, Minced
 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
 5 tbsp Olive Oil
 1 ½ tbsp Ground White Pepper
 ½ tsp Paprika
 ½ tsp Ground Thyme
 ¼ tsp Ground Ginger Spice
 1 tsp tomato paste
  Salt to taste
To Serve
 Garlic Paste

In a medium bowl, mix all the marinade ingredients together while rubbing the chicken. Make sure all pieces are well-coated.

Place marinated chicken in a container, cover, and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Thread the chicken cubes in wooden skewers.

Place the chicken on the grill on medium heat and cook on all sides (12 – 15 minutes) until the chicken is golden.

Assemble the sandwich: Spread 1 teaspoon of garlic paste along the diameter of a Pita bread/Arabic Bread, add some cucumber pickles, French fries, grilled tomatoes or peppers, the grilled Shish Tawook Chicken Kabob, roll as in a burrito and enjoy.
