Qamar El-Deen juice (Dried Apricot juice)

Qamar El-Din is a dried apricot juice. It is thick, sweet, delicious and it is one of the traditional drinks for Ramadan in the Middle East.

 ½ Dried Apricot paste (Qamar El-deen) sheet (about 10cm X 20 cm)
 4 Cups hot water
 4 Tbs sugar
 1 tsp rose or blossom (optional)

Cut dried apricot sheet into small pieces.

Put in a bowl and cover with water.

Put the bowl in the fridge overnight.

Blend qamar el-deen with water, sugar and blossom water in the blender.

Serve cold.

Tips and Notes:

Can be served with dates.

More water or ice can be added until obtaining the desired thickness.
