Middle Eastern White Beans with Meat (Yakhnet fasoolia Baida)

A traditional middle eastern white Beans (fasoolia Baida) recipe cooked with beef in tomato sauce.

 1 cup white beans, soaked with water for the whole night
 1 lb beef (diced and boiled)
 2 ½ cups tomato juice
 1 tsp salt
 ¼ tsp black pepper
 1 ½ cups meat broth
 4 garlic cloves (mashed)
 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Boil the soaked beans for half an hour until they are cooked.

Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat and add the garlic. Stir for two minutes.

Add the broth and tomato juice to the saucepan.

Add boiled white beans, boiled meat, black pepper and salt, and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat and cover the pot and leave for 40 minutes until tomatoes cook.

Serve hot in a bowl on top of a few spoons of rice.
