Mashed Potato Fatayer

Dough ingredients:
 Flour: 2 cups
 Yeast: 1 tablespoon
 Milk powder: 1 tablespoon
 Warm water: 1 cup
 Sugar: 1 teaspoon
 Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
 Vegetable oil: 3 tablespoons
Filling Ingredients:
 Potatoes: 4 grains (boiled, peeled and mashed)
 Salt: 1 teaspoon
 Black pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
 Paprika: 1/4 teaspoon

To prepare the dough: In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, yeast and sugar.

Gradually add milk and water while kneading and knead until until smooth and elastic.

Cover the dough and leave it in a warm place for 45 minutes.

Spread the dough on a floured surface and cut into circles.

Mix the mashed potatoes with salt, pepper and paprika.

Roll out each dough circle. Place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center of each circle and pinch the dough to form a triangle.

Place the fatayer in a lightly greased oven tray.

Bake at 355 F (180 C) for about 15 minutes until golden. Let cool slightly before serving.
