Fattah is an old popular recipe, characterized by its very delicious taste and health benefits. Kafta Fattah with Yogurt is so delicious Arabic dish consists of four layers (rice, toasted Arabic bread, yogurt sauce, and kafta fingers.

For Kafta
  2 lbs (1 kg) ground beef with fat
 1 medium onion, chopped
 1 cup parsley, chopped
 2 large garlic cloves, crushed
 2 tsp salt
 1/4 tsp black pepper
 1 tsp mint, dried
 4 tbsp ghee
For Fattah
 2 cups short-grain rice, boiled
 2 loaf of Arabic bread, chopped, toasted
 2 cups meat broth, very hot
For Yogurt Sauce
 5 garlic cloves, mashed
 3 tbsp sesame paste (tahini)
 2 tbsp vinegar
 1 tsp salt
 4 cups yogurt
To Serve
 Fried pine nuts, chopped parsley

In a large bowl, add ground beef, salt, pepper and mint. Mix well using hands. Form Kafta into small fingers.

In a thick base pan, heat the ghee, add the kafta fingers and stir until fully cooked and become golden. Cover the pan and keep the kofta hot.

Yogurt Sauce: In a deep dish put garlic, tahini, vinegar, salt and yogurt. Stir with a fork until a soft sauce is formed.

Bring a serving dish, spread the rice and bread, add the broth, then spread the yogurt sauce.

Spread the kofta fingers on the yogurt sauce. Decorate with pine nuts and parsley. Serve directly.
