Traditional Kabab Halla (Chicken Stew) is one of the ultimate comfort food in the Egyptian homes. Prepare a delicious meal of chicken flavored with spices and serve it along with a plate of crunchy French fries.

 Vegetable oil: 1/4 cup
 Boneless chicken thighs: 1 lbs. (500 gr)
 Black pepper: 1 teaspoon
 Chicken spices: 1 teaspoon
 Garlic powder: 1/2 teaspoon
 Onion powder: 1 teaspoon
 Dry coriander: 1/2 teaspoon
 Cumin: 1/2 teaspoon
 Crushed cardamom: 1/2 teaspoon
 Paprika: 1/2 teaspoon
 Salt: 1 teaspoon
 Onion, chopped into slices: 2
 Chopped tomato: 1

In a saucepan, over medium heat, heat the oil and place the chicken. Stir until the chicken color changes.

Add the black pepper, chicken spice, garlic powder, onion powder, coriander, cumin, cardamom and paprika.

Stir the ingredients over the heat until the chicken is tender, then add the salt.

Cover the pot stirring from time to time until the chicken is cooked.

Add the onion and stir it with the chicken until it is tender.

Add the tomatoes and leave the chicken kebab on the stove for 10 minutes to boil before serving.
