Chicken Shawarma

Shawarma is a dish in Middle Eastern cuisine consisting of meat cut into thin slices, stacked in a cone-like shape, and roasted on a slowly-turning vertical rotisserie or spit. Originally made of lamb or mutton, today's shawarma may also be chicken, turkey, beef, or veal. Thin slices are shaved off the cooked surface as it continuously rotates. Shawarma is one of the world's most popular street foods, especially in Egypt and the countries of the Levant and the Arabian Peninsula and beyond.

 3 tsp Chopped parsley
 1 Cube of chicken stock
 1 Tomato cut into small cubes
 1 Large onion, finely chopped
 ½ tsp salt and pepper (or to taste)
 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
 1 tsp Allspice
 2 tbsp Vinegar
 1 lb Chicken breasts

Wash chicken slices thoroughly under running water. Set aside to remove excess water, then cut into cut into thin strips.

In a bowl, mix vinegar with oil, spices, salt and pepper.

Add the chopped onions and tomato cubes, and mix well.

Add the chicken to the previous mixture, cover and store in refrigerator for at least 1 hour and up to 12 hours.

Put the chicken in a saucepan over medium heat.

After making sure the chicken is cooked, add the parsley. Serve hot in sandwiches.
